No matter how hot the water is, you’ll never be able to burn off the feeling of her fingertips dancing on your skin and you can scrub your mouth as much as you want but you’ll still taste her as if she never left. Washing your sheets won’t rid her scent but it sure as hell feels good knowing she hasn’t touched them, and burning her stuff she left over won’t make you get over her but it makes you feel a little better inside. Knowing that in 7 years when your body remakes every cell and she hasn’t touched the new you makes you feel a lot better but no matter how long time passes when you see her with another girl you’ll still feel your stomach drop, like your riding a rollercoaster that has no end. And when you meet another girl you’ll search for similarities, even if you say you hate her. Every song reminds you of her and you don’t go to certain places anymore because the fear of seeing her is bigger than the fear of dying and when you do see her it’s okay to hide and go home and lock yourself in your room. Your going to cry, even if your the one who left. It seems like the whole town was painted her favorite color overnight and every where you go you hear your song. You won’t be able to go back to the woods you used to hangout at because it was the place she first kissed you and as much as you loved those woods your burning inside and if you could you’d set the entire place on fire. You’ll stop eating her favorite foods, which you came to love but now you can’t even take a bite without throwing up and maybe it’s the alcohol or maybe it’s the feeling in your stomach knowing you’ll never kiss her again. It’s not over until you stop checking her social media, or to see if she’s with her. As hard as it is you can’t control the future and you guys didn’t work out for a reason even if you love the way she looks at you or misses the way she played with your hair.
